* Examinations in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand,
   Malaysia and Hong Kong.
* Modern and classical examinations, both practical and written.
* Graded courses leading to recognised Diplomas.
* Career-oriented syllabi.
* A wide range of choices and flexibility within each syllabus.
* Sound educational principles combined with a practical, common-sense attitude to music examinations.
* Opportunities for creativity through improvisation.
* Assessment by qualified, professional musicians.

ANZCA policy is determined by a Board of Directors, who work in a voluntary capacity; administration is through an Australian office, which includes qualified musicians.  Policy is continually reviewed to meet the demands of a changing society, and relevant observations and suggestions from teachers are welcomed.
